HAMILTON CHURCH MUSIC.

Sib,— Notice was given by the officiating priest ou Sunday morning last, at St. Peters' Church, . Hamilton, that at the close of Wednesday evening's service a meeting of the parishioners would be held to consider the question whether the .Choir. should continue to use the New Zealand Hymnal or Hymns Ancient and Modern. I offer no suggestion in the matter, biit would advocate anything that would tend to protestantise the present services. The removal of some of the emblems, and the h6rse-ehoe arrangement suspended over the one side of the altar, would be even a greater gain in this respect than the ohange of one set of tunes for another.— l am, &c, Pbotestant.
