ENGLAND PREPARES FOR MILITARY OCCUPAION OF EGYPT.
SIR M; CHAMBERLAIN OFFERED COMMAND.
Sydney, June 15. News received by Torris Straits mail whicli has arrived at Brisbane, states that full detailed instructions have been sent by Madras mail from the Home Government to the Go-vernor-General of India to send a military force to occupy Egypt in event of certain contingencies occurring. Sir Mel vill Chamberlain is offered the command of the expedition. , Chinese emigration to Queensland is expected to decrease greatly owing to the opening ot the tea season.
