PLOUGHING MATCH.

MEETING of the. members of :thc ~ «CJambridge JFaFmera' >Club, and ' othersunterested »in the: getting :uj: •of a ploughing /match, was held al 951irkwood's' Sotel, • Cahibridge, on Tuesday last, the 29th inst. Mr H. A. 0. Fergusson was called to the ■ chair, and explained -the object oi *the meeting, by the ad vertisement in the Waikato Tjmes, Mr Geo. Clarke moved the first - 'resolution, yrz. J - : "That it is desir.able.a ploughing match be held •'somewhere -in Hire ''district'during •the month &£ J*unie, or * early in - July." Motion seconded by :Mr E. and carried Lananimouslj. Mr A. A. IFantham moveS—'"That there*be four classes repre- - -sentefd. The first, for treble-furrow c ploughs; th!e second,, for double- ; the third, for-sjnghvforrovy:, • and the fourth, Tor boys, 17 years'and under." This i motion was seconded by Mi* Buttle, .-.and cai*ried. Mr James ? Ruheiman ; movecl— *" That the following gentleman act as a committee, to carry out the S -above resolutions, via.: Messrs A. \Panthflm, T. Richards, Robt.3risKei\ Richd. Reynolds, 'R. f Parr, *Tno.
