Sure ould Ulysses (unknown to his missus) Found lovely Brisis lamintiu' Pat, An' the other day, sore, across the say, The Bear was Kooshin upon Tallowfal* Fat's in his line, for in Asia Minor The divil a finer hog's lard is there To roast a Turkey, and so to work he Set out in airnest, did this Booshin Bear. Big Alexandber, on say or lan or On mount is grander thin the mighty Mars, He's grate at talkiu', and don't like walbin', An' so he's sthrivin' to capture Kdrs • He often ouases the omnibusses - (The royal Russ is a baiste to swear), Ho this ou'd Cossick has tried to fossick Some Turkish coaches for the Ro shin Bear. Besides a vayicle he keeps a baigle, Likewise an aigle, for he's fondav sport, Ho'a often merry a dhrinkin' sherry, Bub his eye is always upon the Porte la Imparial garmint, he can praohe a sarmint — Av I had the varmint in the County Clare Wid a good Bhjllaley, faix I'd go bail he Would howl out murthar, would this Rooaliin Bear. Wid the aid av Science an' our alliance, The Turks' defiance meets this ould boss, He's just imtindin' to be difindin' (For all his actions are on tbe Cross) The Chrystian oraytures— but his ugly fayture*. Shows he's not in airnest nor on the eqoare, ■'* . Hjs tint has holcß, for he smashed the .a Poles. , y An' faix we oah see through this 'Tloo&hin Bear".'
But t»rean'-age», if England rages, An loudly wages Impayrial war, To guard Aist Injy we'll not be stingy, Bat for rivinge w e will face tbe Cz%r. Our grand resources an' mighty forces Av -Volunteers won't be in the rare, Our War Vooabulerry has the Armed dnbtabulerry. Their rifl« muzzles will be on the Bear. The Wr.ike.ri Rangers will s«rn all dangers, . From foes an' strangers they'll guard the batch. An' our Wellington Rifles won't stop at thriflcs, •They're sure to keep out o' the inimy's raieh ; The ChribtohuJch Yeomen will make a show, min, , They're full o f/ ' go,' min, an' they'll do their share, An' Major Gordon will form a cordon Av Northern baroes for to hunt the Bear.
