WAIPA COUNCIL.
TnBRB was a full meeting yesterday, with the exception of Councillor Hammond, who accidentally mused the train from Auckland. Or Hay mored, and Cr Fisher seconded the following resolution— "That m tha opinion of this Council the resolutba p lined at the last meeting of. the Council negativing the bringing into operation of the Coantifla Act ia the VVaipa County b » rescinded." The motion was lost by 4 to 2. ! Some other business was gone into, but ! we hold orer our report to our next issue.
