THE QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY.
Fob once, the people of Hamilton .West have taken time by the forelock, and'the necessary measures for getting tip, a day's amusement. At a meeting of two or three'gentlemen, lield on&aturday even-' ing, it was determined to oil! a spacial meeting for next Saturday evening, to form a committee, and arrange a programme for a daya sport on the 24th- of; May. Somehow or another Hamilton West has been unable to manage anything in the way of sports for the last eighteen monthsj while other townships are continually before the public in this matter.
