The dam of Lord of the Manor was late Col. Townley's celebrated Cow Emma, winner of Ten prizes. [3] Royal Buttbrhy 14th (20722) by Royal Butterfly (16862) winner of Royal Agriculture of England Society's First Prize at Warwick, and seven other Paizes at Durham, York, and other Shows; his dam won twenty Prizes and twelve Gold and Silver Medals at various meetings of the Royal English, Irish, North Lancashire, Yorkshire, and other So* cieties. Royal Butterfly was own brother to Master Butterfly, who von First Prize of Royal Agricultural Society of England's Show at Chelmlford, and many other Privet, and nevee was beaten ; and was sold at a high price and sent to Melbourne, shipped by uS,fper ' Copenhagan,' in 1857.
