Waikato Times Obxicv, Friday evening. ALFRED BUCKLAND'3 REPORT. At the Haymarket, on Friday, heavy draught stock of belter than usual q ualily were offered in full number? ; th re was but little inquiry for them, and the greater part were withdrawn for higher values. Medium draught were in usual supply, and fairly inquired for. Horses of a lighter class were abundant, and although the greater number of these were sold, prices ruled low. Fodder was offered in linger quantity, but remains at late quotations. Bonedust damaged by salt water brought £7 10a. tho ton. Chaff, a good sample, 4? At Drury, on Wednesday, there was a numerous attendance of buyers, and an unusually large muster of well-bred stock, principally strong calves. Every lot ofiered was freely competed for, aud realised satisfactory prices, whL'h wore, for calves, from 30s to 46s ; dairy cows, £3 to £11; quiet dry cows, £4 to £5 5s ; two-year-olds, £3 17s 61 to £4 10j ; three-year-old staers, £6 7s 6.1 each ; 330 head sold.

At Remuera, on Tuesday, dairy cows of secondary classes {were off-jredin large numbers, and brought from £5 5s to £7 10s each; choice costs, £lO to £ll 15s. Not many store cattle offered; those were in usual inquiry. Fat cattle in full supply j near 200 sold to the trade. Buyers were prosent both from the Thames and Coromandel, and. at commencement of the sale prices were higher than last week 10 per head, but owing to the large 'number yarded, fell as the sale proceeded to previous week's values. Prices ranged from 243 to 28s the lOOlbs. No store sheep penned. Fat sheep wore in moderate numbers, and of very good quality, but with no improvement in price, and brought from 2 t to 2£d per lb; lambs of good quality, 6< to 10s eash. Pigs were, compared with late market?, plentiful but in demand at extteme prices. Averages obtained were —6 steers, W Satdy, £9 sj; 15 steers McLean and Co., £9 9s ; 25 steers, W J Taylor, £9 9a 6d; 26 steers, R Burke, £7 17a 7d; 22 steers, Jno Short, £8 ; 6 cows. Jno Short, £7 10; 26 head mixed sexes, J O'Brien, £8 6s 6d ; 11 head, Parkinson, £7 7s 6d; 9 cows, R Udey, £7; 85 steers, W Reynolds, £8 10s; 120 lambs.
