Auckland, last night. A farm of 12 acres at Razorback was auctioned to-day at £SGQ Monataris sold to-day £5 2 6. Napier, last night.

A great native meeting- is now being held at Amau, which passed a resolution to the effect that they will give support to the present Government until they see whether its measures are good or bad for the native race. Twenty resolutions are on their order paper which is a printed docament, and drawn up and is presented by Mr Sheehan. There are no Europeans and no native women or ehildren at the meeting, and all proceedings are co tul uc ted in parlimentary fashion. Delegates from all tribes in the district are present. Sheehan's party are placing large number of native claims on the Electoral roll with the object of swamping the European voters at the next election. Christchurch last night. The Ashburton Council hung up the Counties Act. The ram fur yesterday was agreat success. 1744 rams were entered, being douole last year's number. The greater portion of the rams were of a very superior quality. Sutton Brothers ; the Southland and Australia Land Company, Southland, aud Dr Webster, Omaru, hare a large number of entries. There was also a number of splendid Merino rams from Ercildoune, Victoria. A much larger amount of business was done than last year. Mr T S Murray, of Wairarapa, purchased a considerable number of Lincolns. Dunedin, last night. "Very little long work was done this morning, Tempieton, Tihana, E.fin Kiug did their mile, finishing fast, and ail shaping well. Punga went two miles iu nice style. Dead Heat, Cloth of Gold were sent little over a mile together the colt not going very kiudiy. Hippocampus had two miles gallop by himself at a steady pace, but during his spurt he showed a taking style. Fishook and Eclips didea sahrp mile. The Cup horse is going as well as ever. Stirabout, and Princess Mary did a rattling two miles gallop. Right Bower went a fast mile and a quarter Tad more made slow work in his clothing.
