GAME LICENCES AS LOCAL REVENUE.
Sir,—l should regret if the Acclimatization Society should become impressed with the idea that any number of persons in "Waikato who pay game licenses would like their money devoted to any other purpose than the introduction of game or fish. Since the appearance of your sub-leader in last issue, I have met a number of gentlemen who have taken out game licenses ever since they came into operation, and to a man they are in favor of the Society continuing to receive the license money.-—I am, &c., Kennedy Fill. Hamilton, March 16tb, 1877.
