ASSESSMENT COURTS.
Sib, — I see from your paper of 13th Feb, that the Assrssment Judges are appointed for Counties, and consequently appeals infthe Newcastle Highway District, are to be heard partly .'- at Ngaruawahia and partly at Raglan. As the 'Assessment Lists are made by the Road Boards and not by the Counties, this will cause gre.t inconvenience, and seems very absurd.-— I am, &c, ' ; ■'■-''' - • TnoitAs Wilson, Chairman, Newcastle -District '■'V:'- -. ,-'.• - - ; Board. Te Koao, 15th Peb, 1877. • - -■
