Horse stock was m full supply, and more sales effected than usual. The description mostly In request were medium draught, suitabe for farm purposes ; heavy draught comparatively dull of sale. Prices for this description of stock ranged from £18 to £36. but the greater numnumber between £20 to £25. Light , harness horses are at lets relative values, consequent on the large number lately sblrk.. Wool, hides, and skins were m larger than average supply, with a full attendance of buyers. Bost hides brought 4f s and 4fs the pound. Lambswool, m grease, 9d to lid i Jongwool m grease, iOJd and lOf ; washed cross-bred wool, 14d the pound. Fresh lamb-skins 2s lid j sheepskins, 3s each. At Remuera on Thursday, dairy cattle were m full number, and m request at advanced prices. Store cattle m limited number but with better inquiry. Fat cattle m full supply ; 160 head yarded j bidding dull, but late values fuJEy sustained. Store sheep plentiful, and at late values. Fat sheep m less numbers than lost week, and fewer buyers, but values fairly sustained. Lambs unusually plentiful, and niobtly of good quality. After the first few pens were sold, they were at very low values, aud saveral lots Weve withdrawn. Prices obtained were: — Dairy cattle, ne*r calving, from £7 to £12 each ; dry cowr, £3 to £4 ; yearling, mixed sexes, £3 10 * ; fat cattle, 24s to 28s the lOOlbs ; f she-p, 2^.1t0 3 1 the lb; lambs, 4s 6d to 13s each ; inferior cues from 2* 7d. Averages obtaided —42 head R Scccombe, £8 18^'6d ; 25 bead, R Bent. £8 Is 31 : 20 steers, W Tucker, £8 ; 11 head C J Storey, £8 3* ; 17 head, Rutherford, £8 ; 20 steers, Mr Williams. £8 12s; 7 head, A Stewart, £9 14=i.
