TURKEY'S FINAL REJECTION OE THE CONFERENCE PROPOSALS.
ENTHUSIASM IN CONSTANTINOPLE.
[Press Agency.] London, January 19. The Grand Council of Turkey resolved not to discuss the proposals of the Conference any farther. The determination, when made known m Constantinople caused shoots of "Death before dishonour/ .The Council was unanimous m rejecting the proposals as contrary to the integrity and dignity of the Ottoman empire. ECCLESIASTICAL DISPUTE. The Vicar of Spelhamdall continues to defy the Court of Arches. The Bishop of London closed the church to prevent riots. The matter has been referred to the Privy Concil. THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. The American Congress has rrl ,ferred the question of the Presidential electioa to a tribunal composed of the Supreme Court, aud members of both Houses.
