Waikato Times Oeeice, Friday, evening. ALFRFD BUCKLAND REPORT. The wool sale was fully attended by the trade. The general quality of the wool sold was inferior m condition to that of the earlier sales, but bidding was bri .k throughout, aod generally higher relative values given than m the earlier sales Priceß for washed wools ranged from 12£ dto 15d ; wools m grease, 8d to lOd the lb. Hides contiuue m demand at the improved values noted m last week's report. Best qaal'ty bring 3£l the lb At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were fairly repreeente 1, aad 'Jn demand at late volues. Stoic ca ves were more than usually numerous, and 'at lower prices. Not many store cattle, except ra *es wereyar'e 1. Dry cows were m betterinqniry. oth«r kindsat last wef k's va'uos. Fat cattle ia full numbers — 150 bead were yarded- At the commencement of the sale last week's prices were obtained, but fell as the sale proceeded about 2s the lOOlbs. Store sheep were m moderate numbers, with a fair inquiry. Fat sheep m usual supply j la9t wtek's advance was not sustained, and a few pens were withdrawn. Fat lambs abundant, bat required, and satisfactory prices obtained for them. Pigs m limited number and at late values. Prices given were :— Cows at calving, £6 to £9 ; dry cowb and backward spricgero, £4 10a to £6 15s ; calves, 25s ' to 32s 61 ; yearlings, 40a to 57a each ; fat cattle, 22s to 28s the 109}bs ; store lambs, 4s to 5s ; wether hog , 7s 91 ; best fat lambs, ]ls to 15s each ; fat wether*, 2£d to 2£d; ewes, 2d the lb.
