The Concert in the evening was also well attended and the various ladies and gentlemen amatuers engaged iu the performance, were more than usually successful in -rendering the parts alioted to 'them. Mrs R B L i)uffus presiding as usual at the pianoforte. This lady's song, " Home Sweet Homej" was one of the gems of the evening. Mesdames Millar's . ■ and Madigan's songs were also encored enthusiatically. Messrs Dick, Kirk, Lacon, and company in the Christy Ministrels caused roars of laughter. Some of their local hits being unusually good. Kii'k as corner-man is unsurpassable, and his get up magnificent.
