Afc'the sale of hiJes, skins, and wool, there was a full attendance ot buyer*. Very few hides wero offered ; those were at late rates— 3i per lb. Sheepskins were alto in moderate numbers, bat ut full taluoi ; they brougl/, Jrom 2a 2d to 6s each ; lambkin*, 1» tnl each. Wool both in ba^s and bales; io larger than usual quamiity, 'Ihere was steady competition at latt Tilues throughout the tale. Wool in grease brought fiom 7d to lOfcd ; washed, 13d to Hid ; locks and pieeei, .2Jd to 5J per lb. At the JJaymarket, ou Frid ijr. a lare«r than average number of useful riding norses were sold at prices varying from £10-10* to £15 15s ; amall sized and interior horses, from £4 to £7 ; a showy buguy more, £40 ; lightrharneai, £10 10i to £20 10a ; mtdium draught, sui able {or iarm work, £15 to £29 respeomJy. Green oats realied £60 for 14 acre*. At Hemuera, on Thursday, iat cattle were in average nutnten— l2o h«ad yarded, »nd mostly steerf. Last weekV values ware fully sustained until about SO head we sold, when bidding became dull, and 20 head were withdrawn from the auction ; prices ranged from 26s to 29i tne lOOlbt. bfore cattle in moderate numbers, and the lower values noted in lose week's report were sustained, with the exception of caives, for which full prices wert giren. Dairy cows numerous ; bidding dull, and pricts irrogulur, with a tendency to lower values. Fat sh >ep in moderate numbers, with a lerj dull sale, and several pans were withdrawn. Those sold brought last week's values— 2l to 2i«i per lb. Limbs in average suppiy, but in excess of rrquii emeriti, and at lower values. Good qutiity brought f. om 8s to 10* 6d;very ohcice pens, 12j 8d to 14a. (store lambs 4* 6vJ to 6s each Pig* were in less than utiiul numbers and fair inquiry. Fat calves, short of requirements, bud better worth.
