W« had, I am sorry to say, a sad accident here on the 11th instant, Datid Bell, who had been managing for hit uncle, Jtmci Bsll, lince Datid Sherriff got bit leg broken, bad been encaged into in tho afternoon in shifting sheep from on* part ot the farm to another, and while returning home afterward* the mare on which he was riding fell and broke the collarbone of hi* left shoulder. He started on horseback toon after the aocident to go to his parents residence, at j Tamaki, I think it is » T McDonald, a j neighbour, accompanying him as far as Hamilton, whioh they reached next moraing in time for the coach, after a •low cold nisht'i ride. The mai^ whioh fell with him did sot escape sostheleis : some of the bones of ber left shoulder are broken, so that it is doubtful whether ah* will lite to rear the foal she has. I fear she stands a poor chance of lmng long, us 1 obserred her •boulder this morning was awfully •wollen. , , Mr Harp, ten, is propret sing larouraply wfctf our new sohool-house, a building 30ft by 18ft, stud Bft, boards upright, PT4G mof as well, all the imide planed, porch 10ft by 7ft The building, when finished, will look rery well,— Owh COBXISPOXDItiT.
