Correspondence. THE INTERPROVINCIAL PIGEON MATCH.
Sir, — At one of thoie who hare betn, called upon to Tijit Auckland for the purpose of firing off for the Cup in the Interprovincial Pigeon match, I would ask — would it not be far more convenie t for all partios if the practice pursued in other matches were observed on thii occasion, and the Waikato subscribers were allowed ' to lire off in their own district ; the firing of course taking place at the same hour and on the same day. There may bo others like myself to whom it is a considerable inconrenicnee to leare home for Auckland merely for tho abore purpose. The pigeons might easilj be forwarded up for they are scarce here ; aud this, but a trifl. ing one, is the only difficulty I can see| in tho matter. Trusting that the Committee will take the matter into considerations t thru meeting on Friday, — I am, &c, C C Wood. Hamilton, 20th Dec, 1876.
