A public meeting of the ratepayers of lUnguiihu wan htM yesterday afternoon Andrew K*y, Esq , in the chair, at which the two following resolutions, proposed by Mr J f Neill, and seconded by Mr J R Roche, were carried un*mmoQ»ly ; — Ist. That the Rangiaohia Riding i-t unf^nly dealt with, and that au adoitnonal Member should c granted, considering its nr. a. wealth, and populati'm. 2nd. That the foreg^in^ resolution be telegraphed to the .Resident Minister, in Auckland, the Hon F Whitaker. The meeting was well attended, considering the short notice.
