Another Fire. TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF HOUSE AND FAR M STEAD.
On Tuesday night late, a fire broke out in the dwelliug house of Mr Orosabie, on a farm some four miles out from H .milton Ease, ou the lUimltou »ud T.iupin r >ad. Mr Cross')if f ie appears, is employed ou tho railway, at, or near Mercer, and hiwife au.l family only bare betu living m the house ou tbo farm, for some time past. Tlie fire had, it seems, got vroll hold of the buildiug before it waa diaoovere 1 by the inmates, who are u.ud to anvo had a narrow escape, getting away with nothing but their night ciotbitig, not a aiugle thing e'se in the house haviug been ■aved. Tho fire spread to the adjacent outbuildin^s.and erery thing was destroyed. Its origin is uultnowu, but as in ail probability an iuquett will be held, the enquiry may lead to the ditcoveiy of the cause. Mrs Crossbie and the children were kiudly taken card of by tho neighbouring settlen, who rendered them every asaiutauce. We are informed that the property was lnsutoi far £300.
