Hokianga County It bounded towards th» north by a lino from the month of the Uwhlroa River, in the harbour of Horekino, to the tmmiometricnl station on the »ummlt of Raetea, and from thence following the southern boundaries of the Mangonul, Totara and Kaeo ffi-.'h-wny District*, being nortion of the southern boundary of the County of Man^onui hereinbefore defined toward! the oast by the western bonndirv of Mic; M»ini?inan(?ina Block to Hie Waipapa Stream, thence by that stream and the Wattarotn and Okailnu No 2 Block* to the Waiharako River thence by cntre of that river to the nastorn boundary of the Man'isataralre TOoclc. thenca by that boundary and Pnkcwharariki, Rnkauwahi, and P>inakitere Blocks to the Punakltere Rlror, by that river to tho Mangiknhia Road, thence by that road to Its inte section with a line from trleonometrical station No 18 on Tarai o Rahlri, to trlgonnmttrlcal station N'i 43 on Tntamoe ; toward* the south by the aforesaid line from T >rai oRahiri to Tutamoe, thence to the trigonometrical atatlon on Mannganui Bluff; and towards the west by the ocean.
Bay oif Islands County It boundod towards the north by tho «oufhern honndariti of tb« Kaeo and Wangaroa Highway Districts to the mouth of lh« Takou River, bolif? portion of the loutharn boa d try of the County of Mantonul herdnbefori defined ; towards tho cut. by the ocean to Helen* Bay ; towards the sputh bv the northern boundary of the Opuawhangn No 4 Block, commencing at Helena Bay aforesaid, thence by a line to th« tnmrnit of trigonometrical station 18 on Tarai o-Rah'rl. thence by a line in tho direction of Tutamoe to tho intersection of the Manttaka'iia and Biv of Idandn Roid : towards the West by Hokianga County, hereinbefore defined.
Wangarei County I« bounded towar/if the north by a line from trigonometrical station 18 on Tm*l o Rnhiri. to the northweitorn corner of the Opuawhanga o. 4 Block, and br the northern boundary of that block to tho »en nt Helen* Biv. boiti!{ tho xonthern boundary of ttio Bay of Islands County h Moinbefora defined : toward! the eiwt liv the ocein ; tow irds the south by tho louUiern bound irlei of Hie Wnlpu. Paparoa, and vt.itakoh* Htehway DiitrlcU to tho Walroa Rirer, thencs by a right lino south-west to th» north east corner or 1c Knri block, thpnc* by the Wairo* Estuary and_ Kaipara Harbour; and towards the west by the ocean.
ROUNEY COITNIY Is bounded towards tho north by Wangarel County and Hobion County, hewlnbefor* defined ; towards the ea tby the ocean ; toward* the south by the iouthern ••oundnriei of tho W»inni »nd kaulc«p»k»pa Highway DlntrlcU ; and towards the West / by the eitu»ry of the K»ipar» and \V»lroa Rirtn .
Waitkmata County It bound d towards the If ortli by the waters of the KftiDtr* Eatutry and by the lonthtrn boundaries of Mm Kaukapakana and Wainui Highwy Districts, being tho Mouthern boundary of Kodney County, herelnbofore defined ; towards the cust by tho Hfturaltl Outf ; towardi Urn south by the north •''ore of W»item»t» Harbour, und by » lino from the whou Creek to M*nuk»u Hirbour, bolni? COROMANDKL COUNTY Conjprisos all that portion of the promontory lying to the north of a boundary beginning at the mouth of the Waikawhau River, along that river to iti iourc», thence by a straight Hue to the northern head of Tairua Harbour.
Thames Countt It bounded towards the Nortli by the southern boundary of the O>romand»l County, hereinbefore defined ; toward* the east by the ocean ;on the wut by the ocean to the mouth of the Piako Rlrer, thence to Pukorokoro, thence by the conht ated boundary lino to a point due west of the summit of the Aroha Mountain, thence br a line direct to the «ummit of that mountain, and from thence by a. straight line to the mouth of the Rlrer Waihi on the tea coait.
Piako County I* bounded towards the North by the Thames County, hereinbefore defined ; thence toward* the ca*t by lines from hill to hill Along th« summit of the range forming the western boundary of the Tauranga Conflicated Diitrtct to Poutihi thence by a right linrv to Uira Gorge ; thenco towardi the we»t_by a rightj line to the luinmltof MauniraUutarl Mountain,'*? * right line thence to Kopuahau on the eastern boundary of the Waikato Confiscated District to the boundary of the Thames County.
Watkvto County Ii bounded toward* the north by part of the *outhern boundary of th<s Manukau Couuty, hereinbefore defined, from the junction of the Maramarua and Waikato Riven to Pukorokoro ; towardi the out by Thames County and by part of the mitern boundary of the Flako County to Kopuahau, and thence by the confiiciition boundary to the « *lkat > River ; and thence toward* the louth-wett and weit by the centre of the 1 ist-mentioned river to the mouth of th« Mantraarua Itlrtr, the commencing point. Includinf all islands in the Waikato River lotithward of th« Maratnarun Creok.
Waipa County Compriics all that portion of the Waikato confiscittd lands which Hei between tho Waipa and Waikato riven.
lUglan County Is bounded toward* the north and east by the Maukau, Waikato, and Waipa Counties, hereinbefore defined, to the southern boundary of the Waikato confiscated lands ; towards the south by the southern boundary of the Waikato confl cated lauds, the centre of tho Waitetuna Riior, and the southern boundaries of the AVhaingaroa and Karioi Highway Districts to the entrances to Aotea Harbour , and toward! the west by thr ocean to the mouth of thi Wnikato River, th« commencing point.
Kxwitf a County I« bounded toward* tho north by the louthern boundaries of the Raglan and Waipi Counties herein* before defined, from the entrance to Aotea Harbour, to a point In transit with a right line joining the iinnmiti of tin Kakei>uku and Ran^itoto , thence towards the East by tho said line, pissinjr through Kakepuku to the summit of Mount Rangitoto ; then co towards the south hy a right line to the most northerly source of the Mok.m River, and by the centre of that river to the ocean ; and towards the west by the ocean to Aotea Harbour, the commencing point.
