At the dance, however, the hall was well fili.d. Mr George Cooper who took the n>rt of " Crumb*" had evidently carefully studi.d, snd well at>ntMne>l the character, which some <>/Q tl<e ober perf irmers evidently had not done After the play, teveral of our local ama-uers took part in a concert, Mr* Duffus kindly presiding at the piano with her u*ual ability. Mr Culpan'i iodk " He like a Solnior fell" wa« deserve lly applauded, being snug w ith great tiste and ft cling. Mis) K.
