GENERAL REGULATIONS.

1. Tho eom'pttition will bo open to all stock, provided the exhibitor be a member of the Society. (Qualification two gu n s, 2. Members exhibit free (except in the Champion Classes) if their subscriptions for tho current year, and all arrears are paid up. Non - members can exhibit Carriage and Hack Horses on payment of 10« 6d ; tnd 2s 6d will qualify to exhibit Farm Produce, Pigs, Implement*, &c. &c. 3. All entries must bo made with the Secretary, or forwarded to the office of lirM R Miller, Napier. For Stock, not later than the 12th day of October next ; for Produce, &c, by the 16th. 4. No competitor will be allowed to show more than three lots of Sheep in any one class, and it ilnll not be competent to enter any Stock in more thn one clans except in the Ch.impion Classes. 5. All Stock exhibited shall be bona fide the property of tho exhibitor er his principal. 6. Farm Produce and Implemsntu, &c, must be on the ground by 4 o clock on Thursday, 19 h day of October. 7. Sheep must be on the ground by 11 o'clock on Thursday, 19th day of October, in order that thor may be judg. d. 8. Cattle, Horses, Pige, and Poultry musfc bo on tho ground by 9 o'clock ou Friday, tho 20th day of October. 9. A ticket or order will be delivered by the Secretary on or before tho day of the Show to tho perions in oharge of each lot for its being received into the Shonyards, and no Stock whatever can be allowed to enter without tuch an order. 10. The competing Stock will be classed and distinguished by tickets or numbers to be affixed to each lot immediately after •icy are placed in the Show-yards. 11. Stewards nominated by tho Committee .will accompany th* Judges to prevent interference during the examination of the Stock. 12 Sto<k vrluih cannot be ihown in any competing clais may bo exhibited as ex<ra a 3tock. 13. Any animal eligible to bo shown for a class premium cannot be shown a» extra Stock. 14. Horses must bo haltered and led, snd no r count be removed from their allotted stands without permission of the Stewards. 15. For Horned Cattle, one m»n to be in attendance with each lot. 16. Servants in" Charge of Stock admitted free j and •übjcoc to tho orders of the Stewards. 17. No stock or Implements to be removed from the Yards until after 4 o'clock p.m. on the last day of tho >bow without * special order from the Committee. 18. The Committee will nst under any circumstances hold themselres responsible for loss, damage, or mis-delivery of Stock or Implements exhibited at the Show. 19. No How except those entered for exhibition will be allowed on the ground on any pretence whatever. 20. Tlor*es intended to be ontored for the Leaping Prizes will bo admitted to the Yards at 2 3u p m. 21. After examining tho Stock, &c, and deciding on its merits, the Judges shall •Jgn and giro in their report to the Committee, and their awards shall be final— provided no valid objection is made to tho Prize animal's right to compete in their -reipective clnsies. 22. Class G— Merino Ram, 12 months and upwards 01ms H— Merino Ewe, 12 moothi and upwards Clus I— Longwool Ram, 12 months and upwards Class K— Longwool Ewe, 12 months and upwards Entrance Money for the Champion Cups, £1 Is eaoh ; the Cup to be the absolute property of any exhibitor taking th* Champion Priz« three times. The annual winner to bold the Cup from Show time fcril fourteen days preceding the ensuing Show.
