Oue Yankee brothers don't think much of Chinamen, as is evide >t from tbe follow ng statute passed by tit* Oregon Assembly, as ltirni-hed us by our special correspondent, Mr Marcus Twain :—: — Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Oregon: Section 1 : No Chinaman ihall be all- wed to die in this State until lie has paid ten dollars f^r anew pair of boots with whuh to kich tie bucket. Section 2 : Any Chinaman dying uuder this Act shall be buried •ix feet uuder ground. Section 3 : Any Chinaman who attempts to dig up another Chinaman's bones, shall fi it procure a license from the Secretary of State, for which ho shall j«ay four dollars. Section 4 : Any dead Chinaman who attempts to dig up his own bones, without giving due notice to the Secretary of State sh»U be fined one hundred dollars. Section 6 : Any Chinaman who shall be born without bones for the purpose of wilfully and felouiously evading the provisions of this Act, shall be fined five hundred dollaia.
