A meeting 1 of Otn,go members wra held to-day, at which sixteen afcteuded. Several known to be Government supporters were not asked. The object was to see whether some common platform of opposition could not bo agreed upon. A deputation was oppointed to confer with the Auckland Members, with a view to united action. Ib is rumored that the Opposition intend to attack the Premier strong-ly on the expenses of his late visit to England. Daniel Keefe, ' Crier of the Supreme Oourt, dropped dead to-day, in tho Courthouse. A -few minutes pievious he uabored ia the Chief Justice
