PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS O» THB HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY It is proposed o establish a Company under tho above title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are nt present entirely dependont for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for (he time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of th* community can meet for publio purposes. The Government havo been ar plied to for a sito for the proposed hall, and tin re is little doubt thnt the request Mill be acceded to. The cap" til vill consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows : — 6a upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soor as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shart holders will be convened for the puipore of i looting officers and provisonal directors, dfciding upon the plan of the buildiug, end other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for shares can be made to Mr Kinked* Hill, Victoria street, Hamilton.
