A SUGGESTION.
Sir,— l would suggest that the question of the establishment of a .fost and Telegraph Office in Hnmilton East merits your attention and advocaov. In default of a bridgt, the communication beiween (lie -two townships it to uncertain tbat important telegraphic messages often cannot be forwarded under an hour or two. Tije other day I desired to forward a most imrpirtr.nt mpsssige to a f i lend ut Taianaki, in-respoate to a telegram received bj me at 4.30 o'clock p.m. I used the utmoit haste to reach the office, but, through the delays of the punt, etc , I arrired ten minutes too late Hoping you will exercise your potent influence to enable us to obtain th« advantages of a Telegraph and Part Office — T am, &c, Hamilton East.
