AUCKLAND OPPOSITION PRESS. DISGRACEFUL EXPOSU RE.
The untruthful correspondents of the Auckland opposition press, by their persistent attempts to mis-represent what to >k place at tho late meeting bet wee a Tawhiao and the Defence Minister have drawn forth a refutation of the statements from the pen of tho gentleman who acted us our special reporter at tho conference at Kaipiha. It is a disgrace to the New Zoaland press, a scandal to journalism in this Colony, which it pains us even to refer to. The letter of our spec3.il reporter will be found in another clumn.
