Wo hat-o since received a -fuller- report as iollows. ;•— 'A meeting of ihe Waikato Agricultural and Paitoral 'Asso nation was held at Ohaupo on Tuoadny hst, after the sale. Mr Byrou, M.P.O , no'unied tho'ohalr. The minutei of pret'-ous meeting wero read by the Secretary, and oonfirined. The Chairman real a letter from the Secretary offlhe Waikdto -Turf (Jlub, offering the use -of the new race-course for .holding the shows, at * rental ft£ £10 per annum. *Mr H. Boche taid that the basis -of amalgamation was, that the show* »houkl bo held »b Ohaupo. There iras also accommodation already pronded tho-i*, while, at the racecourse every-thing-would have to bo prepared. At proB9i>t it was unoeitain how^ar tho fundi of tho Association would-be available, and it -was alrisublo not to incur needless expenses. Ho therefore moved, " That the Show Or the current year be held in Ohaupo." Mr X Hill said, that under all the circumitances of tho case, lie had much pleasuro in seconding the resolution, which was oarried unanimously. Mr X Hill explained that u number of gentlemen from Hamilton who had fully intended to be present, wero unaroidably detainad by an unforsecn circumstance. Mr Carpenter proposed that Mr Day bo elected a member of committee in place of Major Wilson, who iras unable to act. Mr Mandeno seconded the motion, -whioh iwas corciod. Mr Mandeno then proposed, That Mr H Roche be oleoted in pUoe of Mr Jas. Taylor. Mr S Steel seconded, and it was carried. Mr Mandeno -said that by one of the rnle3 passed at last meeting, Bo business was to bj brought before a meeting other than stated in advertitement. Mr Mandeno said that his objeut would be at tamed by reducing thoquocum from five to thvee.
