THE SESSION.
The first Session of the 2Tew Parliament will bo opened at Wellington, to-day, not by His Excellency, but, by conimUsion. This is the course usually adopted on the opening of n Now Parliament. The Speaker and Chairman of <Joni!nittf>es will be appointed to-d.iy, and the, House -will then be in a position to receive His Kxcellency's opening speech to-tnonow. It is exported I hut, Sir Ko'teit 'Douglass will luovii, and My Latour, of Ut.tgo, second the additss in reply. Before our next hbuo wo shall, iloubtle&o, have received the telegraphic report at the speech.
