PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS OF THS HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It, is proposed o establish a Company under the ahore title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of snch a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding thedistricr, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place whore all classes and seotions of the com* m unity can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. Tho capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, and 5s each succeeding mouth. As soon as a sufficient number of shares hare been applied for, a meeting at tlio shareholders will be convened for the puiposo oi electing officers and provisonal ■directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, snd other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for shares caa be mad« to Mr KhKA'Kijy Hiifc, Victoria street, Hamilton. ,
