PRELIMINARY PuOSPECIUB OF TH» HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed o establiah a Company under the above title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Pubhcllall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for uecommodation upon the courtesy of the Oflieer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a plaice where all classea and seoliom of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government h*ve been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, aud there is little doubt that the request will bo acceded to. The capital will consist of 600 shares, of £1 etch, payable an follow* ; — 5» upon application, and 8s each succeeding month As soon as a sufficient number of sbaret have been applied for, a mooting of tho shareholders will bo convened for the purport of electing olDo«rs and provisonal direotore, deciding upon tho plan of the building, and other necessary preliminary m&tters.
