That the waut of such a building is nruoti felt is indisputable. Tho present undertaking i proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and seotiona of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for tbe proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to.
