PRELIMINARY PIiOSPEOTUS o? thb HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for the purpose cf erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That th« waut of such a building is muon felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and toctions of the community can meet for public purposes. I Tho Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be aaceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— Es upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for tho put pose of electing officers and provisonal directorn, deciding upon the plan of the buildiug. and other necessary preliminary matters.
