PRELIMINARY PKOSPEOTUB OP THB HAMILTON PUHLIC HALL COMPANY.

•It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the want of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are »t^ present entirely aependont for accommodation upon the courtesy of the*' Officer Commundmgfche dutricr,, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a, place where all classes and Motions «f the commurrity can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for tbe proposed hall, aud there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 600 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows : — is upon application, and f>s each succeeding mouth. As soon m a sufficient number of-sbarcs have been nppliod for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened-for tbe purpose of electing officers and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the -buildug, and other necessary preliminary matters.
