PRELIMINARY PUOSPEOTUS Ol' THE HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It U proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for tho purpose of erocting a § uitablo Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is much felt it indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon tho courtesy of the Oilicer Commanding thedistiicr, or of tho Resident Magistrate, fcr the time boiog, of Waikato. Tho present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and soctione of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and tLere is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, and 5a each succeeding month. As boon as a sutnuent number of Bliares have been applied for, a meeting of the shai eholders will be convened for the purpose of eleoting officers and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the -buildiug, and other necessary preliminary matters.
