PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS OF THE HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title; for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is muoa felt *is indisputable. Tho people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon tho courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of tho Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to romedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of the community can muet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for tbo proposed 'hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— ss upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders v» ill be convened for the purpose of electing officers and provisonal directois, deciding upon the plan of the buildiug, other necessary preliminary matters.
