PRELIMINARY PIiOSPECTUS OF THL HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed o establish & Company under the above title, for the purpose of erecting a suitabl« Publio Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependent for aooommodntion upon the courtesy of the Office* Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and seotions of the community oan meet for public purposes. The Governmont hate been applied to for x Mte for the proposed hall, and there » little doubt that the request will bo acceded to. The capital will oonsist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— 5» upon application, and 5s I each succoeding month. As soon as a sufficient J number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will b« convened for the pui pose of electing ofllcers and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, ■nd other neceasary preliminary matters.
