PRELIMINARY PUOSPEOTUS OF TBE HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for the purpose of eroctmg a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the \vaut of such a building is muofci felt is indisputable. The people are at present entirely dependeut for accommodation upon th» courtesy of the Officer Commanding the distriot, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The prasent undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all olsssss and sections of the community can meet for publio purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little donbt that, the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares of £1 eaoh, payable as follows i— s» upon application, and 6s eaih succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meet- ! ing of the shareholders will be convened for tbe pui po*e of eleoting officers and provisonal directors, daoidmg upon the plan of the building, snd other necessary preliminary matters.
