It is proposed o eitAblisb a Company Under the above title, for tho purpouo of erooting a *uitabl« Public Hall iv Hamilton. That the wuut of such a building is luuon fell is indisputable. Tho people are at present entirely dependout for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Oilicer Commanding tho dmtnet, or of tho Residenl Magistrate, for tbe time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of tho community cau meet for public purposes. The Govcrnmont havu been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that tbe request will be acceded to.
