Sir, — I " wanted to telegraph to Auckland l&it night but found that your telegraph office here *as cloied ftt' 5 pm. Why Should this toe ? It is not so in other placet of no more importance than this, tfhere the telegraph office is kept open till 8 pm, and muit be a serious inconveaieuoe to the public. —^Tours, &o.,' Attcklawdkr.
