W4.NQA.aKi. — At tuo sale on Wednesday, 103 head of cattle wereyarded, and 153 -told. 350 ■heep were penned, and 330 sold. The heavy rain which lasted nearly all day was greatly againil the sale, but On the whole fair prices were obtained out of 36 head of first and Second class beef only one was withdrawn. The bidding for them being quite up to Auckland values, none of them loft for that market. The young bulls can soarcely be Bftid 60 havo been offered, on account sf the stormy v/sather, and are atill for sale. Prices given were for dairy cows, £5 to £8 10s ; grown steers, in fresh condition, £5 to £d 17s 6d ; 3-year-olds, £4, to £5 10§ ; 2-year-olds, £<Ho £3 15s ; yearling! and. calves, £1 to 22 ICa ; dry oowa, £l*lGs to £4 5s ; 2-year-old heifers, £2 to £3 10a ; fat wethers, Mis 6d ; store wethers, lls to lis 6d; inferior agod owes, 4s to 8s •, good two and four-tooth ewes, from <16i to 27i.
