Sib,— ln your paper the Waikato TiHta, March 7th (Tuesday last,) ipeaking of the recollections of the Waikato Missionary, you remark " He sayi," " seven" (a misprint for seventeen) " years have elapsed itnce the above letter was written." If you will refer to the Church Gazette for ttii month, Maroh, where my letter it iniorted, you will find a notice at the foot of the page to this effect—* Written in 1867— to that my remarks rhfer to seven yeaw previowto 1867, and I offer no opinion as to the state of natives of Waikato during the iubieiiusnt years.— l am, &c.
