PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS Of TfTr, HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.
It is proposed o establish a Company under the above title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the waut of such a building is muon felt is indisputable 'The people are at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the districr, or of the Resident Magistrate, for tho time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sestions of the community osn meet for public purposes. Th» Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request -will be acceded to. The capital will consist of ' £00 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— -5s upon application, and 5s each suceeading 'month As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been applied for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convenes! for the purpose of electing officers &nd provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, Bnd other necessary preliminary matters.
