PRELIMINARY PKOSPBOTUS OP CHR HAMILTON PL'EIIO HALL COMPANY.
It is proposed o establish a Coiapsny under the above title, fur r Iro jnir;-*.*o'ot cructing a suit* able Public Hall in Hamilton. That the tttraut of such a building is much felt is indisputable. The people are at present en* tirely dependent for aocommodntion upon the courtesy of the Officer ComnundinK the diitrior, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikato. The present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of tbe com* m unity can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for the .proposed hall, and there is little doubt that tho tequoit will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 50Oihares, of £1 each, payable as follows ; — 5e upon application, end i>s each succeeding month. As«oon as a sufficient number of stiarva have been applied for, a meeting of tho shareholders -will be convened for tbe put pose of electing officers aud proviaonal director*, deciding .upon tho plan of the buildiog, snd other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for shares can be made to Mr KumxDYiHiu., Victoria street, Hamilton.
