PRELIMINARY PKOSPEOTUS OP THt HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY. It is proposed 0 establish a Compnny nnder tho abore title, for the purpose of erecting a suittibln Public Hall in Hamilton. Tbat tho waut of such a building is mucb felt is indisputable. Tho people are at present entirely dependoat for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of the Resident Magistrate, for Iho time being, of Waikato. The pieieut undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place where all classes and sections of tho community oan muet for public purposes. The Government hare been applied|to for a site for the proposed ball, and tkero is little doubt that the request will bo acceded to, Ibo capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 o»ch, payable as follows :—ss: — 5s upon application, an I 5a each succeeding month. An scou as a sufficient number of shares haTO been applied for, a mooting of tho shareholders will be convened for the purpose of »leeting officers and provisonal directory, deciding upon the plau of the building, snd other uc-ocs^iry preliminary matters.
