PRELIMINARY PHOSPECTUS OP THI HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.

It is proposed o establish a Company under the abov* title, for the purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the vaut of such a building is muck felt is indisputable. -The people ara at present entirely dependent for accommodation upon the courtesy of the Officer Commanding the distriat, or of the Resident Magistrate, for the time being, of Waikatc. The present undertaking proposes to 'remedy thii deficiency by providing a place where all classes and section* of the community can meet for public purposes. The Government have been applied to for a site for the proposed hall, and there 1a little doubt that the request v/ill be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, tf £1 each, payable as follows :—sa: — 5a upon application, and 5s each succeeding month As !oon as a sufficient number of *hares have been applied for, a meeting of the *hareholder« will be convened for the purpose of electing oflioers and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, ■nd other necessary preliminary matter*.
