At the monthly meeting of the Mungapiko Di«triot Board held on tho 6th met, it vai resolved to call for tender* for a new bi-Mge at Havelock's leap oh the Ohaupo and Alexandra Road. - It vrai a)§o decided that the Engineer proceed with the culrert on the Te Awawutu und Alexandra Road, and that the proposed roud to Alexandra from Puterangi, through McGKbbon'* farm, itand OTer. As to >he bridle track to Tuhuikaremea, lor which £201) was roted at a Drevijus meeting no action was Uken. A lett*i* was read from the Se^retarj of the Cambridge Fmraeri' Club in reforenct to the^Braudtng Act, which will be taken into comi leration at the nest meetiog of the Board.— Own Cobrb^ondent.
