Mr John Knnx will sell by auction on Friday next, at Mr Few's ftu-m, Cambridge ro.nl, a number of valuable stock, inc'iiding danv cows, two-year-old heifer y^arlingß, together with several saddle hor-es and a vnrif-ty of sundries. Mr Alfiod Buckland will hold his usual weekly sale at Remueia to-day.

THE OH «IUTO CATTLE SALE. Mr Biuklind held his usual monthly sale of stock at Mr Edwards' commodious Rale yards adjoining the Ohnupo H"tel on Tup«day last. Mr S Buckland acted as knight of the hammer, M though there were a large number of bu\«TS prcent, there was not so large an at*°Jndnnce altogether as on the previous month, which may he neeounted foi hv the fact that a gnat number of settlers are engaged in harvesting operations. Mr Buckland reports—" At the cattle sale held at Ohaupo on Tuesday there was a large attendance of buyers, though the cattle bi ought fo-ward were in less numbers than usual and a shade lower in price, and the bidding was dull throughout the H.Ue. 110 head of mixed cattl" were \arded and sold at the following prices . — Will-bred steers, 12 to 2 ' months old, £3 10s to £4 2s 6d ; thiee-yeir o'd steers, eft 1 5s to £7 ss; fat cattle, 25s the "10 lib*. A small lot of inferior wether 1 imbs brought 12s c; eh."
