PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS OK THE HAMILTON PUBLIC HALL COMPANY.
It it proposed o ostabhsh a Company under the above title, for tho purpose of erecting a suitable Public Hall in Hamilton. That the want of such a building is much folt is indisputable. The people nre at present entirely dependent ior accommodation upon tho courtosy of the Officer Commanding the district, or of tho Rosidont Magistrate, for the timo being, of Waikato. Tlio present undertaking proposes to remedy this deficiency by providing a place whore all classes and scotions of the community can meet for public purposes. Tho Government have been applied to for a sito for the proposed hall, and there is little doubt that the request will be acceded to. The capital will consist of 500 shares, of £1 each, payable as follows :— ss upon application, and 5s each succeeding month. As soon as a sufficient number of shares have been apphod for, a meeting of the shareholders will be convened for tho purpoao of electing oflleorß and provisonal directors, deciding upon the plan of the building, snd other necessary preliminary matters. Applications for Bharea can bo made to Mr Kinnbdt Hill, Victoria street, Hamilton.
